My name is Nick Tann, I teach people to sing. All kinds of people, young people, old people, confident people and shy people. I teach people to sing who thought they were a lost cause. The people that tell me that I could never teach them to sing, I do.

Over the last 12 years I have developed various techniques and methods to help anyone sing in tune, with confidence.

I have honed all these methods and have developed a 3 stage system of vocal training.

These stages are:

The Key Stage – Where I teach you how to match a note with your voice. You sing the same note as me.

The Song Stage – Where you get to use the voice you have and sing songs. We sing songs together moving on to you singing solo. All in tune and with confidence.

The Harmony Stage – Where I teach you to sing the melody and I sing in harmony. This moves on to us reversing the roles, I sing the melody and you sing the harmony.

I use a variety of exercises, tools and songs depending on what I think will work for you.

Can you really teach anyone to sing in tune?

I really can, I have a 100% success rate.

How long does each stage take?

It depends…. Often people breeze past the key stage in the first lesson and move straight to the Song Stage. Sometimes the Key Stage can take more than one time.

Some people breeze through the first 2 stages and spend longer on the Harmony Stage.

Do I have to do all the stages?

No, you do what you feel comfortable with. However, if you cant match the same note as me and if you can’t sing in tune with confidence there is no point in me teaching you to sing harmonies.

Choosing the right teacher is crucial, I totally understand that! I have to be the right fit for you so I offer a one off no commitment 30 minute lesson for £30. If you want to book more lessons afterwards then fantastic, if not then that is totally fine.

I teach from my studio in Eastleigh but I can offer Key Stage lessons anywhere but they MUST to be in person.

I charge £30 for a 30 minute session and £50 for an hour. Please use the form below to ask any questions.
